Jacob Hess: Introspection
Friday, October 21
Show open from October 21 – November 19
Join us for the opening reception of Jacob Hess’s solo exhibition: Introspection.
Hess has carved out his own market within the fine art industry with his unique approach to painting. Rather than a traditional canvas, Hess opts for more tactile materials such as wood, stucco, and various fabrics. His paintings are constructed–like wall sculptures. His bright colors are a staple within his work as well as the sharp edges juxtaposed against organic forms within the paint. Hess views painting as an analogy for life–building something out of many materials, putting pieces in the right places, and rolling with the unexpected. Throughout Introspection, you’ll see his play with contrasting elements and his journey as an artist, as well as a bit of insight into his own life.
Hess has gained the attention of professional boxers, Kansas City Chiefs players, and international accolades with his art. You won’t want to miss this!
We will also have special edition posters on sale for this event as well as light refreshments and appetizers.
