A self-taught artist, Cassie finds that it is the process of creating that truly sustains her. Her work is layered with acrylics, colored pencils, oil pastels and other media. There is a push and pull with the color and balance until the final piece surfaces. Cassie has recently fallen in love with mixed media abstract art, where she feels she can enjoy the freedom to create loosely, not worrying too much about the end result.
