Steve Defenbaugh has returned to one of his first loves – art. After 35 years as a successful businessman, he now devotes his time and energy to that passion. His capacity to think creatively and analytically has served him well in business and equally now as expressed in his art work. His interest in art began as a young boy, sketching and drawing with his grandfather on his ranch in Colorado, and continued over the years.
His art has been primarily by commission and is now represented in 20 states and in Canada and Greece. Life experiences, including travel to Paris, Tuscany, Rome, Ireland, Germany and China has influenced his art work. But most of his inspiration comes from the balance of light, color, structure, and design in everything that surrounds us each day.
Steve is a member of various art associations and artist coalitions. He has generously donated works of art to support various charities including Boys and Girls Club America, Operation Breakthrough, Heartland Saddle Club for Kids, and Animal Haven.
